Red-Tailed Hawks Flight Lessons for Youth (FLY) is a flight training academy held at Boeing Field, Seattle, WA held the 2nd through 4th Saturday in July.  During the Red-Tailed Hawks FLY academy, we seek to excite young underrepresented people about flying by providing a rich hands-on learning experience.  This flight training opportunity is open to students ages 16-21. Cadets receive:

•50 hours of private pilot ground school

•10 hours of lunch-n-learns

•10-12 hours of flight training

•Over 20 hours of mentoring/coaching

Cadets who perform well are eligible to continue training towards pilot certification
