The Red-Tailed Hawks held the monthly meeting series on September 1-2, 2023. The Friday Zoom covered Weather Theory and included a discussion with DeAundre Cola, Delta Airlines First Officer. The Saturday Fly-In meeting was at the Heritage Flight Museum at Skagit Regional Airport, WA. It included Weather Services, a tour of the museum, watching Warbirds fly, and earth science observation flights with RTH pilots. Hats to Greg Anders (USAFA 85’) for rolling out the Heritage Flight Museum’s red carpet for the Red-Tailed Hawks. What a fantastic day for flying! What an excellent opportunity to learn about legendary aircraft and the adventures of NASA’s Apollo 8 mission to the moon.
