The Red-Tailed Hawks Flying Club sponsored student pilots at the 2024 Black Pilots of America “Les Morris” Summer Flight Academy, and Kyla Palmer of Portland, OR, excelled. Kyla is a long-time member and participant in the RTH Youth Program. She completed the RTH curriculum and served BPA during the 2023 Operation Skyhook. This future surgeon has demonstrated she has the hands for flying as well. Now that she is home, we are awarding her with mentoring, coaching, instructional, and financial support in earning her Private Pilot certificate.
