RTH held the June Meeting Series in a hybrid fashion June 10-11. The Friday Zoom included an engaging lesson on Flight Instruments, the history of Cornelius Coffey, and some important reflections on the RTH mission, recent success, and future plans.
On Saturday, fourteen amazing volunteers and six guest speakers served 21 students at Paine Field, WA. Hats off to Everett Community College and Regal Air for opening their doors! We appreciate Paine Field Airport Operations and the Federal Aviation Administration for presenting information on aviation operations and career opportunities. We are especially grateful to Louis Freeman, Southwest Airlines retired, for coming all the way from Chicago to speak to our RTH Youth Program. His FLIGHT PLAN talk was valuable and inspirational.
The students also enjoyed a tour of the EvCC Aviation Maintenance Hangar and flights over Lake Stevens with RTH pilots.
