Breaking Barriers in the Sky! Ishitha Arekapudi, a 17-year-old aviation prodigy and advocate, began this week by earning her Single-Engine Land rating. She earned her Private Pilot with a Glider rating at the age of 16.
We are super proud of Ishitha who has excelled in the RTH Youth Program, performed with honors as a Red-Tailed Hawks FLY cadet and earned a RTH Glider Project scholarship. This is the latest milestone along her inspiring journey. As a valuable member of RTH, she has presented history lessons, served on fly-in ground crew, participated in outreach and fundraising and shined in leadership roles during ROADS challenges and RTH AeroSci camps.
