The Red-Tailed Hawks Dawn Division Team MS2 submitted their team patch design for ROADS on Asteroids. This team of middle school scientists elected a hand-drawn medium to demonstrate the artistry of their community. They also chose the unmistakable Space Needle as an icon of the Seattle area. The grey asteroid is symbolic of the NASA missions to asteroids. The red/orange flame and ribbon represent the academic trails they are blazing and pays homage to the famed 332nd Flight Group “Redtails” of WWII. The patch also includes their team designation of MS2 and the Red-Tailed Hawks Flying Club (RTH) logo, and the project name ROADS on Asteroids and the year 2021. The blue background represents clear skies, and the border is red with black trim, which are the primary colors of RTH.#ROADSonAsteroids#FlyHawks
