Saturday, the Red-Tailed Hawks, BPA gave the Tacoma Chapter of Jack & Jill the RTH Youth Program experience. Twelve youths and their parents learned about Willa B, Brown, the Tuskegee Airmen, Les Morris, aerospace engineering, and the fundamentals of flight. Later the youths flew simulators and went on discovery flights with RTH pilots. NAS Whidbey Island joined in the fun as well by providing a Search & Rescue Helicopter static display. Hats off to Galvin Flying and Signature for opening their facilities and ramp space for the event.
