(RTH) partnered with Airway Science For Kids, Inc

On Saturday, August 7th, Red-Tailed Hawks Flying Club (RTH) partnered with Airway Science For Kids, Inc. to support a NAACP ACT-SO outreach event. During this RTH Aviation Experience II at Pearson Field Education Center, Vancouver, WA, students learned little aviation history and pilot knowledge and experienced flight in general aviation aircraft. Jaylen Palmer shared the story of Eugene Bullard, the first black American military pilot, and the basic fundamentals of flight. Then, four RTH pilots provided discovery flights for the ACT-SO students.#FlyHawks#NAACP
