On August 5th, 15 Red-Tailed Hawk student members attended a reception, at Columbia Tower Club, and met the Blue Angels, which is the Navy Flight Demonstration Team. They mingled with the entire contingent and learned from each of the pilots, maintenance officers, flight surgeons, public affairs, event planners, etc. However, the first to step over and inspire the crew was Julius Bratton, Blue Angel 5, the lead solo pilot.
It was a welcoming, fun, and informative networking event. The food was great, the music was delightful, and it was awesome to know the faces of the pilots and crew when they flew again on Sunday.
