The 2024 RTH Aviation Day Camp is in the history books! On the weekend of 26-27 July, 60 students were invited to enjoy the world of aviation. On Friday, they were treated to an online introduction to an airline transport pilot, a career panel and the history of the Tuskegee Airmen. On Saturday, the students learned about airplane parts, the fundamentals of flight, and aircraft systems from Red-Tailed Hawks FLY Cadets. Then they rotated between a scavenger hunt in the Museum of Flight, experiencing the Aerospace Education Center, and flying with Red-Tailed Hawks Pilots. Afterward, they witnessed the Red-Tailed Hawks FLY Cadet's graduation and were invited to join a Rover Observation and Discoveries in Space (ROADS) team.
