RTH held the January Meeting Series on 20 and 21 January 2023. On Friday, 36 RTH members enjoyed an overview of the Principles of Flight and the Aerodynamics of Flight. The evening an included a history lesson about the Night Witches of WWII, who were an all-female 588th night bombardment regiment. The Zoom meeting ended with five students reading their Artemis ROADS research papers.

On Saturday, Rainier Flight Service hosted 38 RTH members their Renton facility. We began with an open discussion about Mental Health. Next, five additional students presented their Artemis ROADS research papers. Afterwards, Dan Hrehov, Flight Test Academy, instructed a hands-on experience covering flight test considerations during production of airplanes. He used products and procedures of The Boeing Company as examples in his curriculum. The meeting ended with flight simulator experiences for all students.

RTH is forming Artemis ROADS challenge teams in WA and OR. It is not too late for interested high/middle school students to sign-up at this link https://forms.gle/9vyYni2LsMwYvoTKA.
