Red-Tailed Hawks held the April meeting series in a hybrid fashion on April 21-22, 2023. On the Friday Zoom, 48 participants studied Aeronautical Decision Making and the history of NASA astronaut Guion Bluford, who became the first Black American to work in space. On Saturday, 78 RTH members and parents visited Blue Origin. Forty-Two students studied Flight Manuals and Other Documents, viewed the factory floor, and participated in a paper rocket build and launch challenge.
We are tremendously grateful for the Blue Origin New Jackson project again opening its doors for the RTH Youth Program and introducing its engineering solutions for space exploration.
