Red-Tailed Hawks Flight Lessons for Youth (FLY) is traditionally held on the 2nd through 4th Saturdays in July (10-24 July 2021). Through the course of 48 hours of ground school, 10 hours of lunch-n-leans, 20 hours of coaching/mentoring, and 10-12 hours of flight training FLY Cadets gain pilot knowledge, pilot skills, and insight into the aerospace industry. They finish with leadership opportunities at RTH Aviation Day Camp. They teach younger campers some of what they have learned and worked as ground crew during flight operations.RTH pilots, CFI, and associate members are critical to running Red-Tailed Hawks FLY as well as our programs.
